Have you ever thought about working as an interpreter? If you’re skilled with foreign languages and want to put your abilities to good use, you might want to learn more about interpreting and develop the necessary knowledge for a role in this industry. This Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting is a great place to begin. Throughout this course, you’ll learn everything you need to start working as a competent interpreter at a basic level of two-way communication, building on your interests in the role and any previous work you have done. You’ll learn all about the day-to-day duties of an interpreter, focusing on the different sectors where you might find yourself and developing your knowledge and abilities of essential skills such as sight translation and two-way interpreting. With this formal, recognised qualification, you’ll have lots of practice in interpreting work and will even get the chance to familiarise yourself with selecting and preparing assignments, so you’ll be well prepared for future work.
