This course is suitable for those who have already completed a beginner-level clothes making course, have attended sewing classes at the college, or have equivalent prior experience. You will develop greater confidence, accuracy, and independence, while refining your techniques and producing garments with a more professional finish. Throughout this course, you will: Strengthen your understanding of garment construction and work through the stages of creating more developed clothing projects. Improve your ability to interpret sewing patterns, plan construction steps, and select suitable fabrics and finishes. Develop more secure dressmaking techniques, such as inserting zips, attaching sleeves, shaping garments, and finishing edges neatly. Explore fitting, adjusting, and refining garments to improve comfort, shape, and overall finish. Apply your skills to produce a more detailed garment with increasing independence."
