A Level 3 work-based Horse Care qualification is for anyone with a job or work placement in the equine industry, who is looking to build an equine career. You should ideally have a Level 2 horse care qualification or some years experience working in the equine industry. It is a work-related, competence-based qualification. The different routes available within this qualification are Horse Care, Horse Care and Riding, Breeding and Coaching.

What you need to get on

This Level 3 course requires you to have some years experience working in the industry, and/or a level 2 qualification. You will need to be working or volunteering in an equine yard with some areas of supervisory responsibility .
