This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a hairdresser/stylist including the mandatory units which include, working in the hair industry, health and safety, client consultation, shampoo and conditioning hair, cutting women's hair and the art of dressing hair. You will also have the opportunity to further develop your understanding and skills by specialist units which include the art of colouring hair. Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety whilst working in the hair industry. You will also develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of each unit and develop your practical skills.
