In this course you will add to the skills you gained at Level 1. Lessons will provide you with practical and theoretical skills relating to the hairdressing sector.
What you need to get on
Minimum four GCSEs at grade A-D including English A Level 1 Diploma in Hairdressing. There is no direct entry onto this course unless you have extensive experience in cutting and salon work. An informal interview and short assessment will be required.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
