Level 2 apprenticeship qualification which allows entry on completion to a qualification allowing progression onto the Level 3 diploma in Veterinary Nursing, alongside the relevant Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 and above, which are provided alongside this Level 2 qualification. This qualification is suitable for those who are working in small animal veterinary practice in a supporting role e.g. receptionist, care/ kennel role and who wish to become a Veterinary Care/ Nursing Assistant, this course would provide you the required additional knowledge, skills and behaviours to upskill. We train apprentices across London, the home counties and beyond due to our flexible hybrid / remote learning approach which allows for those living further away from our college site on the North East London / Essex borders. All learners will be provided with a Team Educate account allowing access to their own platform which contains all the learning materials, access to their own email, and Office 365 package. We too have an 'Earn while you learn' program for those who may not already be working in veterinary practice allowing those who are interested in a career in veterinary nursing to apply directly for an apprenticeship place with us, providing an exciting employment opportunity as well as gaining a valuable apprenticeship qualification. What you need to get on

There are no official entry requirements. Those that requires Maths and English to progress onto Level 3 will be provided sessions during their time on the course to lead onto the required functional skills qualification.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
