Our Aspire2Work programme is designed to progress learners into work in the Education sector, including as Teaching Assistants in Primary Schools. We deliver a holistic programme over 4 weeks, including up to 3 Level 2 learning aims in Safeguarding & Prevent, Mental Health and Behaviour that Challenges. We work with local schools and agencies including Randstad to progress our learners into meaningful employment. The purpose of this qualification is to increase the learner’s knowledge and awareness of the Prevent Duty and safeguarding, including online safety. By completing the qualification, learners will develop knowledge of safeguarding in an environment where they have a duty of care.

What you need to get on

If you are you 19-23 Years Old to be eligable you need to hold a full level 2 qualifications. You will also need to be unemployed and wanting to gain employement. You will need to bring evidence of benefits such as: ​ Job Seekers Allowance (JSA), Employment Support Allowance (ESA), Income Support, Universal Credit (UC), Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
