What the college says
This qualification will develop learner’s knowledge on safeguarding and prevention in an environment where they have a duty of care. It will increase the knowledge and awareness of the Prevent Duty and safeguarding, including online safety. The qualification will cover topics such as radicalisation, how to recognise and respond to signs of abuse or potential harm and the importance of online safety including risk and signs of behaviour that could cause concern.
