Through the use of case studies, you will learn how to support children and young people with mental health conditions. Suitable for: This course is suitable for those who are working with children over 8 years or with young adults who are experiencing mental health difficulties. The course focuses on supporting children and young people within educational settings. Course units: Unit 1: Understand the principles of mental health concerns in the context of children and young people Unit 2: Legislation and Best Practice relating to children and young people's mental health Unit 3: Living with childhood mental health conditions Unit 4: Understand how to minimise risk of mental health concerns in children and young people Unit 5: Understand causes and diagnosis of mental health concerns in children and young people You will ideally need to have access to Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Publisher and PowerPoint as you may need to download and edit documents for your online course
