Challenging behaviour is causing concern today as many individuals have increasing levels of stress and anxiety in their lives. This behaviour can be due to factors such as anxiety, neglect, abuse, learning disabilities and conditions like dementia. Understanding the causes of challenging behaviour is the first step towards finding ways to support individuals and manage their behaviour. This course is ideal if you have an interest in interest in mental health challenges and/or how people can be affected by disabilities or difficult experiences. As well as supporting people that are seeking to improve their skills to help individuals, this course is also very useful for those looking to further personal and professional development.

What you need to get on

Living in the UK for 3 years. Over 19+ by 31.08 in the academic year you wish to study. You should not be currently enrolled on an apprenticeship. Access to a computer with a reliable internet connection An email account that you regularly check and/or a phone so that we can keep in contact with you. You need to pass a short English assessment You will need to demonstrate that you have sufficient time to study as it is expected that you will achieve within 6-10 weeks.
