Our Level 2 Principles of Care Planning course focuses on improving your understanding of your role in relation to providing care and support to individuals. Through the course, you will look at expanding your knowledge of principles and processes of person-centred thinking and planning, current legislation and policy, implementing care plans and the process behind these as well as looking at nutrition and health, supporting and maintaining personal hygiene, sleep and continence care. Suitable for: This course is perfect for those who currently work or wish to work within the care sector. Course units: Unit 1: Understanding person-centred thinking and planning Unit 2: Care planning for the care worker Unit 3: Understanding nutrition and hydration in health and social care settings Unit 4: Principles of supporting an individual to maintain personal hygiene Unit 5: Understanding continence care Unit 6: Principles of supporting sleep You will ideally need to have access to Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Publisher and PowerPoint as you may need to download and edit documents for your online course.
