What the college says
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Sports Coaching is a one year course, studying on a full time basis. The course is a blend of both practical and theory based lessons, using our onsite gym and sport facilities. You will also have the opportunity to study maths and English alongside your vocational qualification.
What you need to get on
Minimum 4 GCSE's at grades 3 - 2 (D - E) or equivalent, including a D in Maths and English, or a Level 1 qualification in a relevant subject area.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
