If you are looking to improve your knowledge within the Sport & Leisure industry, then the Certificate in Sport Level 1 is the place to start. This course can provide the skills required to give you a basic knowledge base for working in the Sports Industry. While on the course you are given the opportunity to learn how to coach a wide range of sports and / or safely prepare a fitness session within the College fitness suite. You also get the chance to organise events for local Primary schools to come and visit the college and take part in various sports.
What you need to get on
Minimum 3 GCSE's at grades 2 - 1 (E - F) or equivalent, or entry level qualification. Alternative qualifications and experience will be considered.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A first step that builds towards Level 2.
