What the college says
The qualification develops learners knowledge relating to the role of person-centred care planning at the end of life and is ideal for anyone who is already working in or intending to work in the healthcare or social care sector. The course may also be suitable for anyone who is caring for a loved one or family member during their final stages of life.
What you need to get on
To be eligible for funding, you must live in England and have resided in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years, must be aged 19 or over, must not have previously studied the course you are applying for or another similar course and must not currently be enrolled on another government-funded education programme. If you are aged between 19 and 23 - you must hold a full level 2 qualification If you're not eligible for funding, you can purchase the course online if you are over the age of 16.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
