What the college says
This is a Government funded SWAP programme where you will attend the course and receive an interview with an employer at the end of the programme. If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits. We will help you to get your taxi badge. We provide the required qualification, fund your taxi medical, taxi DBS and your badge with your council of your choice.
What you need to get on
1. Live in the Liverpool City Region 2. Be 19+ prior to the 31st August 2024 3. Be unemployed or earn less than £33,958.60 per year. 4. Have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3years. 5. Not currently a student. 6. Held a full UK driving licence for minimum of 1 year. 7. No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
