If English is your second language and you want to improve your English, then this course may be right for you. It aims to develop your writing, reading and speaking skills and give you an opportunity to gain skills and qualifications for further study or employment. Learning how to be independent is a key aspect of any adults’ life. The course has been designed to guide you through this stage of your life.
What you need to get on
There are no specific entry requirements except being aged between 16 and 18 years old. You will be given an initial assessment at your interview to look at your level of English. This will help us to put you into the right class.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
