Certificate in Employability Skills Level 1 is designed to prepare learners to enter the world of work. The objectives of this qualification is to help learners: • develop and enhance skills required for the working environment • develop learners’ confidence for employment and motivation • improve communication skills and personal effectiveness • provide a basis for further study This qualification is a short introduction for anyone preparing to enter the world of work. It is also suitable for anyone already working who wishes to formalise and further develop their existing experience and skills.
What you need to get on
Proof of ID, proof of residence, proof of address, proof of employment, if self-employed then a completed yearly tax return form, proof of unemployment, English and Maths initial assessments.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
