This qualification is designed to extend learners skills in craft and textiles to an advanced level. It'll improve learners creative and intellectual ability in communication, innovation and critical evaluation of their own work in the classroom. This qualification will focus on the study of creative crafts, offer breadth and depth of study, incorporating a key core of knowledge and provide opportunities to acquire a number of practical and technical skills in fashion and textiles.
What you need to get on
This course is for 19+ adult students and has no entry requirements. Use of a sewing machine and a love of fabric / textiles would be an advantage. (This course is not offered to pr-19 students, they would need to enrol onto the T Levels programme).

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
