Your course will be a mix of practical salon, classroom and workplace sessions with employers such as WELLA. Areas of study include shampooing and conditioning, colour removal, neutralising, customer service, health and safety, customer service and styling and blow drying.You will learn the skills you need for the workplace including communication, numeracy, organisation and relationship-building.
What you need to get on
Students need to have a keen interest in the hairdressing sector and enjoy working as part of a team. A successful interview and initial assessment of English and maths. A school reference for 16 to 18 year olds. There are no formal entry requirements to join this course. We'll use your interview to make sure it's the right course for you.
