As part of the course, you will be asked to record your fitness levels and test your fitness at different stages of your learning. This course will equip learners with a detailed understanding of the concepts of health and well-being, including basic anatomy and physiology. They will learn about the role of nutrition in exercise, including energy requirements and fluid replacement and then learn about how to measure personal fitness levels and create a personal program of exercise and nutrition. On completion of the course you may be interested in doing Level 2 Gym Leader or the Level 3 Personal Trainer with the BSDC which is partnership with CIMSPA. You will have access to: Interactive and easy to navigate resources Engaging videos and content, highlighting key knowledge and information Case studies to demonstrate how skills can be applied in practical situations An easy to use, integrated note-taking feature allowing you to jot down information as you work through the learning materials. A series of activities to support and prepare you for your assessment Personal Tutors are assigned to you to ensure you have the support needed to succeed. Upon completion of this course you will gain a nationally recognised qualification. Please note this course is delivered via distance learning, allowing you to choose when and where you study
