This course is perfect if you're looking to get a better understanding of the trade and want to gain some valuable skills that will help set you up as a professional carpenter and/or joiner.
What you need to get on
You'll need 4 GCSEs at grades 3-1 (D-G), including English Language and Maths at grade 3-1 (D-G) or a relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification. With this you will be asked to sit an initial assessment and this must show that you are ready to study English and maths at Level 1. If your results are lower than this, don't worry, we'll find the right course for you.
