This is a course designed for 14-16-year-old learners, Electively Home Educated learners, learners who have not achieved the GCSEs required for the full Level 1 Diploma, learners moving out of Supported Learning provision, and learners who want a safe, slow transition into (or back into) learning.The course will be a relatively small group of 12-14 learners and allow students to begin their educational journey in art.Modules will include drawing and painting, graphics, mixed media, textiles, ceramics and print.Work will be assessed via sketchbooks, journals, 2D and 3D art pieces and a smale end of year exhibition.Progression could be to the full Level 1 Diploma in Art, Design and Media or possibly beyond to our Level 2 Art and Design, Level 2 Creative Digital Media or Level 2 Games Design and Esports courses.
