What the college says

The CTEC Sports Studies course aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop coaching and sports science experience that will lead on to University ports courses or full time employment in the sports industry. It will build on CNAT sports studies (students may be able to study sport at KS5 if they did not at KS4) skills. Students will be responsible for recording and evaluating their sports performance and others, coaching all levels of students as a PE teacher and also gaining a knowledge of anatomy and sports injury.

Learners are most likely to succeed if they have: 5 GCSEs at grades 4 or above and/or BTEC or CNAT qualification(s) at Level 2 Achievement in English and Mathematics at GCSE.
