What the college says

Cambridge Technicals offer creative and inspiring vocational qualifications to give a high quality, work focused alternative to A Levels. This course is for students who want to study Sport and Physical Activity in a much higher level of detail than can be achieved at GCSE whilst being assessed in ways that are practical and relevant to the sports industry. The course has been developed in partnership with key employers in the sports industry to ensure the material is challenging; developing in depth knowledge and a range of transferable skills that are essential in the workplace or in further study.

What you need to get on

6 GCSE Grade 9-4, must include grade 4 or above in English Language & Maths. GCSE PE (Sport Science) at grade 4 or above is desirable but not essential. Pupils need to be fully committed to the course and confident in their abilities to coach younger students as part of an assessment.
