This course is for students who want to continue studying Sport after completing their OCR Cambridge National in Sport or GCSE PE. It will suit you if you enjoy learning about a range of aspects to do with Sport. This include seeing how sport has developed over time, the anatomy and physiology of a human, organising sports events, coaching others, the practical aspects of Sport and Health and fitness and psychology in sport. The Extended Certificate is the equivalent of one A level. It naturally complements other science subjects and Health and Social Care and is particularly suited to students wishing to pursue careers in the Sport, the media, business, education, journalism, science or any other field in which communication and organisation skills are important.
