This is a two year course comprising of the following:Year 12 Practical Scientific Procedures and Techniques (An internally assessed unit made up of four assignments) Principles and Applications of Science (Taught content towards 3 x 40 minute externally marked exams in June/ July). Year 13: Physiology of Human Body Systems (An internally assessed unit made up of three assignments) Science nvestigational Skills (A practical set task to carry out under exam conditions and a 1.5 hr question paper marked externally) The final qualification will be an Extended Certificate in Applied Science. •At a Pass, Merit or Distinction (*) level.
What you need to get on
Three or more GCSE grade 5’s with the remainder at least grade 4 (including English Language and Maths at grade 4).
