What you need to get on
Entry requirements for school leavers are 3 GCSE's at grade 2 or above or an appropriate Level 1 qualification. You will require a clear enhanced DBS form, otherwise you will not be accepted onto the course, but there is no requirement to purchase an on-line DBS prior to applying for the course. College staff will help with your DBS application to ensure that minimum fees are paid.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
