This course is for you if you wish to pursue a career in the Beauty Therapy industry. You will follow an innovative programme of challenging and exciting practical skills and knowledge based theory. You will be formally assessed by your tutor prior to performing services on paying clients. The units you will be covering are: -Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector -Presenting a professional image in the salon -Skin care -Hand care -Basic Make-up application -Themed face painting -Nail art application -Providing basic manicure treatment -Providing basic pedicure treatment -Create a Hair & Beauty image -Follow Health & Safety in the salon -Salon reception duties -Working with others in the Hair and Beauty Sector. You will study in our state of art salons and will be formally assessed throughout your study programme by our highly skilled experienced staff.

What you need to get on

Qualifications needed: -4 GCSEs grade C-E (4-2) or equivalent, preferably including English Language or a Level 1 Beauty Therapy qualification achieved within the past 3 years. Required Experience: We welcome all applicants without any prior experience or knowledge in this area. You will need motivation to achieve and have a passion to gain skills enabling you to progress this as a career in the future.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
