Business is a popular subject enjoyed by those who choose it. It will appeal particularly to those who wish to find out more about the world of work and the principles that underpin it. We study various aspects including finance, marketing, production, human resources, strategy, and learn how external factors affect the way businesses operate. It is very much a subject where classroom theory can be applied to real life; indeed, anyone wishing to succeed in this subject should be aware of current affairs and current business issues.

What you need to get on

GSCE 6 grade 5 (or C) in any any subjects including Maths and English Language, with min. 5 at grades 6 (or B). 7 to do Maths, Chemistry, Physics. 6 to do Biology or 76 in Combined. Grade 8 in Maths to do Further Math.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
