What the college says
Business Studies A Level introduces students to a range of challenges and issues faced when starting a new business. They will cover the key areas of finance, marketing, HR and operations as well as investigating case studies to see how successful business strategies have been implemented. Finally, they will look at changes in the broad business environment and how businesses respond.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 in GCSE English Language and Grade 6 in Mathematics. If Business has been studied in Year 11, a Level 2 Merit or Grade 5 or above must have been achieved.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
