What the college says

This course will cover many topics. These range from the establishing of a business, through to improving its performance based on the core functional areas of Leadership and Management, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources. The Business Studies course is a dynamic and rewarding introduction to the world of Business. It requires high levels of analytical skill to develop robust responses to the business context, essential for those aspiring to work in the Business world. It requires hard work and determination to develop these skills and can only be completed with absolute commitment, both inside and outside the classroom. This will entail private research into corporations and their strategic decision making throughout the course. Although the mathematical work is not complex, the analysis and regularity of mathematical equations may require some students to work harder than others. In addition to this, students will be required to write cohesive essay style responses, combining data and their interpretation of its meaning.
