What the college says
This course is aimed primarily at those working with elderly people within the health and social care sector. The course will enable learners to develop effective communication skills support individual rights and learn how to keep elderly people safe and healthy. Ultimately learners will understand how to care for elderly people to the highest standard and the best of their ability.
What you need to get on
An eagerness to care for the elderly to the highest standard either within a current role or a possible future role.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
