Business gives you a clear introduction of how the commercial world operates, it provides a fascinating insight into the world of modern business and enterprise You will learn about the challenges and issues of starting a business, financial planning, sales and customer service, production, management of people, visual merchandising, communication and motivation. This course allows you to walk away with good business knowledge and helps you to develop the foundational skills required to further your studies at Level 3 or apply your skills in a real work setting.

What you need to get on

You must have at least three grade 3s and one grade 2 at GCSE, which must include English Language. We accept Passes in Level 2 BTEC or OCR qualifications as worth up to two GCSE grade 3s each.

How you are assessed

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
