Throughout this study programme you will experience how different businesses work, in business it’s not just what you know, but who you know too, which is why you will be meeting and hearing from a number of guest speakers from both the private and public sector. These experienced professionals will support your activities and share with you information about how their businesses work, providing you with a valuable insight in to the business world. You will put the skills you learn to the test by planning a business venture of your own, with their support.
What you need to get on
Three GCSEs at Grade 3 including maths and/or English, or a Level 1 qualification plus maths and/or English at Level 1.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
