The Business BTEC Level 3 has replaced the Applied Business A-Level. Today’s BTEC Nationals in Business are demanding, as you would expect of the most respected applied learning qualification in the UK. You will have to choose and complete a range of units, be organised, and take some assessments that we will set and mark, and keep a portfolio of your assignments. But you can feel proud to achieve a BTEC because, whatever your plans in life – whether you decide to study further, go on to work or an apprenticeship, or set up your own business – your BTEC National in Business will be your passport to success in the next stage of your life. Students of BTEC Level 3 Business perform vocational tasks that encourage the development of transferable skills such as, communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are valued in both higher education and the workplace. In addition, the course provides the opportunity to learn independently; the ability to research actively and methodically and the ability to give presentations and be active group members.

What you need to get on

To succeed, you will need a minimum grade 5 in Mathematics and English Language. There is no prior learning or other requirements for this qualification.
