What the college says
Have you ever watched The Apprentice and thought ‘that might be for me’? The BTEC Business Extended Certificate is for anyone who is interested in learning about the business sector alongside other fields of study, with a view to progressing to a wide range of higher education courses, not necessarily in business-related subjects, or into employment. The course is designed to be taken as part of a programme of study that includes other appropriate BTEC Nationals or A Levels. This Level 3 business course will enable you to gain a strong grounding in general business management, studying subjects including personal finance, retail and marketing and pitching a business. Throughout the course you will undertake practical assessments and develop a wealth of transferable, high level skills that both higher education institutions and employers are looking for.
