What the college says

AQA Business is designed to engage students through topics and issues that are relevant in today's society, such as digital technology, business ethics, the impact of business on the environment, dynamic pricing and globalisation. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to interpret and analyse business data, think critically about issues and make informed recommendations about real life business situations. These skills are invaluable for further study and employment. In the first year, students will study key functional areas of business; marketing, operations, finance and human resource management and will also examine the nature and purpose of business and how businesses are structured. In the second year students will investigate the strategic position of firms, how they determine their strategic direction, how they implement strategy and how they manage strategic change.
