What the college says

There is quite detailed use of case studies so it is important to be able to relate business theory to the real world. Since mathematical techniques are used, a Grade 5 in GCSE mathematics is required. Students who have previously studied Business should have a minimum of grade 6 at GCSE or Distinction in BTEC. There is some emphasis on extended writing using clear arguments; therefore a grade 6 in English is required at GCSE. Students are expected to be able to evaluate business decisions and business behaviour.
