What the college says
BTEC Sport is for those pupils who have a major interest in sport: playing it, coaching it, umpiring it and learning about different aspects of it. It is a vocational qualification combining practical tasks with academic study. The course is delivered through varied assignment tasks, off site activities and practical activities. It is a two-year, full time course that is equivalent to 2 A levels.
What you need to get on
4 GCSEs Grade 9-4 including Physical Education Grade 9-5 or above and at least Grade 4 in Maths and English.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
