4 GCSEs at grade 4/5 or above, including English, maths and a science OR a relevant Level 2 Certificate at Distinction level OR an Apprenticeship in horticulture with good levels of maths and English. Mature students lacking formal qualifications will also be considered. Numeracy and literacy screening assessments will take place.a keen and active interest in commercial gardening and landscaping with the ability to cope with practical and written assessments and externally set exams.
