This course will help you develop a range of skills in areas related to Film and Television Production. You will learn to plan and research for media production, and will then produce your own scripts and films using digital technology You will follow units on areas such as single and multi-camera techniques, lighting, sound recording and editing to produce practical film and television projects. The course will help you develop the skills and knowledge required to progress onto study at university or further training

What you need to get on

Standard BTEC Level 3 National Diploma entry requirements apply. All students are encouraged to undertake two periods of vocational work experience (one in year 12 and the second in Year 13). A clear DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ may be needed depending on the nature of the placement.
