This qualification provides a highly specialist, work-related programme within the vocational sector of IT and Computing, equipping you with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare for employment or progression to university. It is a two-year, full-time course designed for learners who meet the entry requirements and wish to progress to higher education, employment or higher apprenticeships.

What you need to get on

You will need four GCSE qualifications at grades A to C or grades 9 to 4, including English Language and or Maths, or a Level 2 vocational qualification alongside a Level 2 English qualification. If you are accepted onto this course without a grade 4 or above in Maths and or English, previously grade C, you will be required to continue developing your skills in these subjects as a compulsory part of your timetable.
