This two-year Level 3 Esports course is designed for those wanting to specialise in this rapidly growing sector, it builds advanced knowledge and practical skills for a wide range of careers in Esports and beyond. Over the two years, you’ll develop expertise in coaching theory and practice, produce and edit diverse digital content, plan and deliver large-scale live events, and explore how to create and grow your own business and brand. The course nurtures essential transferable skills such as teamwork, leadership, project management and creative problem solving. Esports offers an exciting chance to study a sector that spans sport, marketing, enterprise, IT and the creative industries. There are many careers in Esports beyond playing professionally, such as coaching, data analytics, events management and content creation. This is a career focused qualification, endorsed by the British Esports Association, and recognised by employers to support your entry into a variety of industry roles. Our college partners with Burnley FC, developing talent for the pro team, who compete as the Burnley FC Esports Academy Bees. The Esports industry itself has grown to four times the size it was in the last five years, making this an ideal time to join an exciting and evolving profession.
