What the college says
This course provides you with a theoretical grounding in engineering and will give you a broad understanding of the huge possibilities within the engineering industry. It allows you to move on to higher education or to an advanced apprenticeship where you can further specialise. This course develops core engineering and scientific skills needed for 21st century industry. It will be delivered using state-of-the-art facilities in our new Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Centre. There will also be trips to machine manufacturers and tooling exhibitions and visiting guest speakers.
