This work related course with a strong emphasis on practical learning and project work may suit you if you are thinking of media related careers and want an alternative to A levels. The course integrates art and design with digital media disciplines allowing you to develop creative ideas and get practical skills in all aspects of production. Equivalent to 3 A levels, it will prepare you for entry level jobs and apprenticeships and higher education courses in the creative industries from web content design, to digital games, film, TV, radio and video production.

What you need to get on

6 GCSE's at grade 9-4 (C) or above including English Language and Maths Subject Specific: Study of Computer Science or ICT at Key Stage 4 is preferred but not required.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
