The BTEC Nationals in Sport have been developed to focus on: Education and training for employees in the sport sector. Providing opportunities for employees in the sport sector to achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 vocationally specific qualification to enter employment in the sports sector or to progress to higher education vocational qualifications such as the Edexcel Level 5 BTEC Higher Nationals in Sport or Sport and Exercise Sciences. Giving learners the opportunity to develop a range or skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
What you need to get on
5 GCSE or equivalent pass at grade 4 or higher (at least one of which is in Maths or English)
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
