What the college says
The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Sport is designed for post-16 learners who want to continue their education through applied learning and who aim to progress to higher education and ultimately to employment in the sports sector. This qualification is equivalent in size to one A Level and provides a broad basis of study for the sport sector.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 in PE (if studied at GCSE) or Grade 6 in Biology (or Science/Additional Science) if GCSE PE was not studied. Student must have a strong interest in sport and physical education.
