Students will study the BTEC National Extended Certificate. The qualification allows learners to develop their wide-ranging knowledge, understanding and skills required for direct progression into a broad range of roles within the sports sector. It also meets the needs of those who wish to progress on to university level courses or apprenticeships in Sport.

What you need to get on

5 GCSE grades 9-4 (Maths and English grade 4), Represented school sports teams regularly (desirable), play sport for a club outside of school (desirable), demonstrate the ability to work individually and as a team member, demonstrate exemplary organisation and leadership. As part of the course students are expected to assist with lower school clubs/fixtures.
