Learners taking this qualification will study three mandatory units: Unit 1: Practical Music Theory and Harmony Unit 2: Professional Practice in the Music Industry Unit 3: Ensemble Music Performance. Learners choose one optional unit. These have been designed to support progression to more specialist music courses in higher education and to link with relevant occupational areas, such as: composing music
What you need to get on
5 GCSE or equivalent pass at grade 4 or higher (at least one of which is in Maths or English) One of; BTEC Music Level 2 Pass, GCSE Music Grade 5, Grade 5 on a musical instrument
