This course is designed to offer some flexibility and personalisation of the course alongside mandatory units, all of which combine to provide a qualification that is widely recognised by universities and employers. Students will study mandatory units including; Ensemble Music Performance techniques, Practical Music Theory and Harmony, and Professional Practice in the Music Industry. One further unit is studied, selected from a range of options including Arranging Music, Composing Music, Solo Performance, Music Investigation, amongst others.

What you need to get on

As a rule you will need to have achieved either a distinction grade at a vocational subject at GCSE or a grade 4 in English Language and Maths for progression onto our vocational subjects.
